Ever feel like your body is rejecting you? That was me at 30. I struggled to find a time when I was not in pain.

After years of doing the wrong thing for my body, one day I did something right, Pilates. I started listening to my body’s needs, working with it instead of against it.

Have the courage to try something new. I did just that, and now I’m in the process of becoming a Pilates Instructor.

FUN FACTS:
I worked at Bonne Bell (the land of Lip Smackers)
as a Graphic Designer for over ten years.
I expanded my skill set, working for a small business and well known local artist, Susie Fraizer.
I love designing, styling, organizing, and planning.

FUN FACTS:
I have a herniated disc in my lower back.
I manage vertigo issues, and tendinitis from years of working on the computer. Pilates was the missing link my body needed.

After taking private sessions for over a year, I saw first hand the many benefits Pilates has to offer. I took the plunge and am becoming an instructor to help others feel better too.

What is Pilates?

PILATES by fancy definition:
Is the alignment of the spine, and the awareness of breath.

Simplify that for me:

Pilates allows you to slow down. (Sound good to anyone?)

It teaches you to become self-aware of your own body. Giving you better strength, movement and alignment. Your posture and spine will thank you.

Pilates provides you with multipurpose benefits, including increased strength, better balance, and stronger coordination.
